RICHARD L. STONE, MD

Dr. Richard Stone is a Board Certified Dermatologist in Provo, UT. Dr. Stone has extensive experience in Skin Cancer & Excision. He completed his schooling from the University of Utah School of Medicine. Following his graduation he completed his Residency in Dermatology at the University of Miami Hospital. Dr. Stone has been practicing Dermatology for many years. He loves what he does and loves his patients even more!

Nathan Smart, FNP-C

A native of Salt Lake City, Nathan Smart, FNP-C, is an enthusiastic and driven individual who is very excited to join Stone Dermatology. Nathan completed his Bachelor of Science in Nursing at Westminster College and achieved his Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) degree from Brigham Young University (BYU), with a clinical background in family medicine. Having worked in Dermatology serving members of Utah County for the past several years, Nathan enjoys connecting with patients while fostering an atmosphere of rapport and commitment among the patients he serves. He is dedicated to helping empower patients through shared decision-making and comprehensive healthcare, treating a wide range of dermatological conditions, with a special interest in cancer detection/prevention, acne, warts, rashes, lipomas, and preventive skin examinations. 

Outside of the clinic, Nathan is married to his wonderful wife, and an uncle to 20 nieces and nephews, roles that he cherishes deeply. He also enjoys anything outdoors, particularly Spartan Endurance Races. 

Nathan is also a proud member of the Utah Nurse Practitioners Association (UNP) and the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP). He enjoys continuing education and stays current regarding best clinical practices and evidence-based guidelines.
